East West Yoga drop-in classes are offered mornings & evenings 7 days a week. Our therapeutic-inspired Hatha yoga classes introduce the student to movement and stillness through breath. Our Ati mind yoga classes held Sundays are instructed by Master level teacher, Shi Yao Hai, and inspire the individual to let-go of conventional experience and create meaning in daily life. Therapeutic Yoga
Well-known in the West, therapeutic yoga (asana) practise composes a series of physical postures that strengthen the body, mind, and spirit of the individual. East West Yoga offers therapeutic-inspired Hatha Vinyasa drop-in classes mornings and evenings for beginner and advanced students. See our drop-in yoga schedule for class times & details.
Mind Yoga
Less known in the West, Ati Mind Yoga (inner, outer & essence teachings) strengthens the mind of the individual and uses the cycle of rebirth and suffering as the direct path to enlightenment. Taught by Master level teacher, Shi Yao Hai, these classes are designed to help with practical day-to-day problems & help the individual create meaning in life.
Drop-in classes are offered Sundays. Advanced and private classes may be scheduled Saturdays in Vancouver by appointment only. To book a private session or to inquire about rates please contact: info@eastwestyoga.net or front reception (778) 737-9297.
Yoga Class Guidelines Fees: We accept payment as cash or cheque, payable to your practitioner. Please Note: We reserve the right to reschedule a class within 24 hours notice. Please visit our drop-in schedule for weekly updates. To enhance your yoga experience, we encourage you to arrive 15 minutes prior to the commencement of class. Class sizes are limited to ensure excellence in teaching standards. Please bring a yoga mat, towel, water bottle, and flexible comfortable clothing for your class. Please turn off your cell phone & remove your shoes prior to entering the studio. This helps us to create a sacred space. Please refrain from wearing heavy perfumes or scents in the studio. This can be distracting for fellow clients with allergies / sensitivities. Eat only lightly within 2 hours of class time and hydrate yourself well before class begins. Although yoga can be beneficial for many conditions, we do not diagnose or treat our clients in class. Please consult your physician for health concerns. Listen to your body and respect the signals it provides you. Avoid pain in postures, and please notify your instructor prior to the beginning of class of pre-existing injuries or concerns you may have. |
