Our Yoga

At the heart of the cultural-spiritual complex of Buddhism is spiritual discipline or Yoga. Buddhist Yoga is taught in 3 different forms:

Our unique yoga practitioner training is formed on higher yoga teachings that unite internal (Tantric) and external (Hatha) energy practices for the mind, body, and spirit.

Tantra embraces both the path of direct realization (where one recognizes ones true nature thru accrued good karma, a spiritual teacher, or ultimate reality itself) and the graduated path (disciplines techniques rituals that enable one to purify until true knowledge shines forth). True Tantra understands the body and the world not as obstacles to enlightenment but as the very foundation of yoga discipline. The body according to ancient Tantra holds all the secrets of the universe. This led in 1000 BC to the creation of Hatha Yoga which is in fact a form of Tantric Yoga. The purpose of traditional hatha yoga is to awaken the body’s dormant spiritual potency which is the transcendental Reality manifesting in the finite human body. The ultimate spiritual goal of enlightenment or liberation is achieved when this energy transforms the material body into a body of light, what the Buddhists term ‘rainbow body’. Co-created to inspire the ultimate career path of healing service, our yoga training brings the natural state into everyday experience for the individual.
